The CLIMATE
EYE MEDIA (CEM)
Brings together media (agencies, on-air and digital channels, newspapers, radio and others) from different languages around the globe to cover until 2030 the major threats and solutions for the future of humanity in the face of the climate and natural resource crisis.
This initiative provides ongoing governance and capacity to cover events on the climate agenda on an annual basis. They also draw on scientific capacity and have access to political information in terms of the progress and setbacks affecting the systemic stability and natural balance of the planet.
The network will also have access to digital surveillance and artificial
intelligence from earth-observing satellites to monitor deforestation,
fires and all events that threaten the future of our civilization and
that previously could not be detected.
This also allows for an unprecedented flow of news and information to citizens globally, covering UNFCCC COPs and other relevant climate events.
The CLIMATE EYE MEDIA (CEM) will provide support to strengthen the goals
of 30% of the planet protected by 2030 and decarbonization to not exceed
the 1.5°C temperature rise target.
